Cristina Castelli started collaborating with CSIL in 2006, working on internationalisation policies and processes. She has been a member of the CSIL scientific committee since 2012.
She is an expert on internationalisation processes, including the role of investments in R&S, of multi-level governance (especially in France), of innovation and ICT, the involvement of Italian firms in Global Value Chains etc. Also, she has been studying the impacts of structural changes on firms competitiveness (especially in the automotive sector) and she has several publications on this issue. Finally, Cristina has gained experience with market analysis on furniture production in India, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman and Qatar. She has been working as an officer of the Italian Trade Agency (ICE) since 1987.
She graduated in Political Sciences from La Sapienza University in Rome.
