Carlo Fiorio coordinates the Italian component of the EUROMOD tax-benefit microsimulation model. He is an associate professor at the Department of Economics, Management and Quantitative Methods of the University of Milan. His main research fields are public economics, inequality and poverty analysis, and econometrics, mainly applied to taxation, welfare, and labour supply issues.
He holds a PhD in Economics and an MSc in Econometrics and Mathematical Economics from the London School of Economics, and a doctorate in Public Finance from the University of Pavia.
