CSIL conducted an ex-post evaluation of ERDF support for SMEs during 2014-2020, examining policy instruments and their impact on employment, productivity, and resilience. The study provides evidence-based insights for policymakers on effective Cohesion Policy instruments.
CSIL contributed to the ECFIN Study Supporting the Mid-term Evaluation of the Recovery and Resilience Facility, providing an objective and independent assessment of the effectiveness, efficiency, relevance, coherence, and EU-added value of the Recovery and Resilience Facility. The supporting study feeds into the EC’s mid-term evaluation report and provides useful evidence and lessons learned for discussions on possible future performance-based instruments in the post-2027 Multiannual Financial Framework.
The evaluation of Malta’s Youth Guarantee 2.0, funded through ESF during 2014-2020, assessed the program's impact on youth education and employment; CSIL applied a counterfactual impact evaluation to analyse its effectiveness.
