Master in Interior Design Retail Management–session on trend of the international furnishing market
The Italian high targeted product is strongly competitive on the foreign markets as shown by the trend of exports and sales of the leading design firms which have been growing over the last years more than their foreign competitors thanks to their investments worldwide. In order to successfully compete on the foreign markets, it is necessary to know the specificities of these markets (characteristics, trend, culture, consumption inclination, distribution channels, communication systems). A master in interior design retail management has been organised by Poli Design and Innova.com on this issue. CSIL experts are invited to provide their expertise and knowledge on how to carry out a market analysis. During the course, the following themes will be addressed: analysis of the major international markets (consumption and living trends); scenarios of the furnishings international markets; the perception of the Italian design abroad, the role of the distribution channels, the strategies to enter the foreign markets monitored by the Italian firms.
