Sandro Da Yu joined CSIL in 2025 as a Data Scientist. He contributes to the institute’s work through data management and quantitative analysis, with a particular interest in applying advanced computational tools to economic research. He has been involved in developing an internal application based on large language models and retrieval-augmented generation (LLM/RAG).
Before joining CSIL, Sandro worked as a trader at a market-making firm.
He holds a Master’s degree in Quantitative Finance from Bocconi University and a Bachelor’s degree in Physics from the University of Milan.
