Paolo Gardino is an expert in the wood and wood-based related sectors with a track record of professional activity as a company manager and consultant. He was director of one of the largest plywood and chipboard mills in Nigeria (1975-95) and had several experiences as sawn wood and plywood purchasing manager in Cote d’Ivoire, Ghana and Cameroon (during the 80s and 90s). For many years, he analysed markets, consumer perceptions and company strategies, leading to a proven ability to understand reasons for the success or failure of specific wood products. He has been a CSIL advisor since 1998.
