Researcher

Marco Schito joined CSIL in 2025 as a Researcher. His expertise lies in quantitative analysis and data visualisation, with extensive experience in handling both firm-level and macroeconomic data from major international statistical sources. He has worked on issues related to SMEs, inflation dynamics, taxation, and broader economic and social trends, applying advanced econometric techniques and large-scale data processing.

Marco combines strong technical competences with a clear focus on data interpretation and communication. His skills include survey design, data quality assurance, regression modelling, and the production of analytical outputs tailored to multidisciplinary research and policy contexts.

Before joining CSIL, Marco gained international research experience in policy analysis at PPMI, contributing to projects on economic governance, labour markets, and gender equality.

Marco holds a PhD in Political Science from Trinity College Dublin, as well as Master’s degrees in International Relations from LUISS Guido Carli and Université Libre de Bruxelles.
