Milan Summer School – Cost Benefit Analysis of Investment Projects
Milan Summer School is a workshop focused on the appraisal of public investment projects (cost-benefit analysis) asking for co-financing under Structural Funds, Cohesion Fund and Instrument for Pre-Accession. The workshop is joined by academic experts bringing their wide knowledge of transport, environment, technological, research and energy sectors and related EU policies. Also, public official dealing with financing and implementation of projects in those sectors are invited. The approach of the workshop is strongly interactive. Participants are invited to bring their personal experiences with practical examples of projects they may have come across in their professional experience. The aim is to shed light on how to improve the quality of the projects applying for EU funding and to better use CBA analysis into the decision-making process. The organization of the Milan Summer School is entirely managed by CSIL.
