This research focused on the market for floors and walls covering materials (Ceramic, Mosaic, Textile etc.). The research’s methodology was based mainly on information on the covering materials sector retrieved from official statistical sources and sector trade associations and face-to-face and phone interviews with distributors and architects. This report measured the size of the covering materials market in the countries under analysis, its breakdown by type of surface (floors, walls) and interiors (bathrooms, dining rooms, living rooms etc.), and shed light on the perception of glass mosaic in comparison to alternative covering materials among distributors and architects. CSIL also analysed the perception of the client’s brand.
