Paola Govoni holds a degree in Foreign Languages and Literatures at the University of Florence. She is a journalist and became partner of CSIL in 1985. Since 1999 she is the Chief Editor of World Furniture, the quarterly review of economic information and market analysis published by CSIL and focusing on international furniture and furnishings industries.
Paola is an expert in furniture design and interior decoration trends and has a sound knowledge of the "made in Italy" competitive model. Among her responsibilities at CSIL, she acts as quality manager of reports delivered by CSIL to private and public institutions (e.g. European Parliament, African Development Bank). She attends lectures and seminars in Italy and abroad. She joined events in Sharjah (UAE), Moscow (Russia), Warsaw (Poland), Milan (Italy) at Triennale, Ancona (Italy) at ISTAO Master for Business Management. She has participated in SMEs Projects for International Cooperation in Europe and South America focusing on implementation of training and development projects for the local woodworking and furniture industry. She collaborates with Italian and international magazines of furniture design, woodworking and furniture industry, furniture supply, home decoration, travels and lifestyles.
