CSIL experts will carry out a study to determine flat-rate revenue percentages

June 2014,

The European Commission, Directorate-General Regional and Urban Policy,  has awarded CSIL - in association with T33 - for a service contract to determine flat-rate revenue percentages for the sectors or subsectors within the fields of ICT, research, development and innovation and energy efficiency to apply to net revenue generating operations co-financed by the European Structural and Investment Funds (ESI Funds) in 2014-2020.

The flat-rate approach is a new method for determining ex-ante the amount of net revenues which is a necessary step in determining the amount of support for the ESI funds for revenues generating projects (Art. 61(3) of the Common Provisions Regulations.

The kick-off meeting - launching the study - was held in Brussels on June 5th, 2014. It was aimed at fine tuning and updating the methodology of the study, discussing the application of the flat rate method, as well as at collecting the preliminary information for data analysis. Final results of the study are expected to be delivered in March 2014.
