CSIL experts visit the CERN

October 2013, 

On 23th-25th September 2013, CSIL experts visited the CERN to carry out a number of interviews related to the Large Hydron Collider, the case study selected in the framework of the research project "Cost/Benefit Analysis in the Research, Development and Innovation Sector", financed by the European Investment Bank. The project is aimed at developing and testing the methodology for valuing  the net socio-economic benefits of both pure and applied research infrastructures.  Lucio Rossi, member of the team and Head of the Magnets, Cryostats and Superconductors Group for the LHC, supported the organisation of the mission.
