Our contribution: careful analysis, global perspective, feasible projects

CSIL experts contributed to an EU methodology workshop on clusters and industrial transformation mapping

January 2018,

CSIL experts participated in the methodology validation workshop organised by the European Observatory for Clusters & Industrial Change (EOCIC). This EC-funded project aims to help Europe’s regions and countries design better and more evidence-based cluster policies and initiatives. EOCIC's consortium is leaded by Deloitte, with CSIL, MERIT (Maastricht University), Fraunhofer ISI, Sociedade Portuguesa de Inovação (SPI), Strasbourg Conseil, Valdani Vicari & Associati (VVA), and VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland as partners.

CSIL partner Emanuela Sirtori presented the methodology for the forthcoming European Cluster and Industrial Transformation Trends Report, and engaged in an inspiring discussion with the European Commission services and world class experts in clusters, industrial change, innovation, entrepreneurship and regional economics.

More updates on the EOCIC project can be found on the DG GROW webpage. ‚Äč
