Carlo Fiorio

Carlo Fiorio is Associate professor at the University of Milan and Member of CSIL Scientific Committee. He joined the Department of Economics, Business and Statistics of the University of Milan in 2005. He holds a PhD in Economics and an MSc in Econometrics and Mathematical Economics from the London School of Economics, and a doctorate in Public Finance from the University of Pavia. His main research fields are public economics, inequality and poverty analysis and econometrics, mainly applied to issues of taxation, welfare and labour supply. He has gained a longstanding experience in the field of research by taking part to several projects financed under the V, VI and VII Framework Program. Currently, he is the Coordinator of the Italian micro simulation model (EconpubblicaBocconi University) for the "EUROMODupdate2 project" led by H.
