Admitted participants can choose their own preferred accommodation either by accepting our proposed facilities, specially selected for the Summer School event, or by considering a different accommodation on their own. Should participants choose one of the suggested accommodations, a reservation on their behalf will be provided without any extra charge.

HOTEL ASCOT

Conveniently situated in the centre of Milan, just 6 minutes walk from the Duomo Cathedral and the University of Milan, this hotel is an elegant solution for tourism and business trips. Superior comforts and exceptional services are provided to meet the needs of the most demanding guests.

  140€ (per person/per night), VAT included
• DBL- Double room:
  200€ (per room/per night), VAT included

Only a total of 22 rooms (20 SGL, 2 DBL) is available at these prices for the period 10-14 September 2012. In case booking requests exceed the available places, preference will be given to earlier applicants.

UNIVERSITY STUDENT RESIDENCE SANTA SOFIA

Located in the heart of Milan, Santa Sofia is the most exclusive residence used by the University of Milan to accommodate students and visiting professors.

Special rates for Summer School participants (breakfast is offered at the bar adjacent the Residence):

• SGL - Single room:
  70€ (per person/per night), VAT included
  
• DSU - Double Room Single Use:
  80€ (per person/per night), VAT included
• DBL - Double room:
  120€ (per room/per night), VAT included

All rooms are equipped with a welcome kit, telephone, internet connection (upon request), mini bar fridge, TV, air conditioning, private bathroom and hairdryer. Daily cleaning and linen/towel change are provided. The reception is open 24 hrs.

Only a total of 15 rooms is available (12 singles, 3 doubles) for the period 10-14 September 2012. In case booking requests exceed the available places, preference will be given to earlier applicants.
